January 2, 2020       Lis and Lon Williamson  musical and life partners for about 35 years, are well known around the Sunshine State for their artistry as a duo, blending eloquent harmonies with accomplished musicianship with a dynamic repertoire of original, oldtime, jazz, swing, and bluegrass tunes. They are also members of The Gatorbone Trio with Gabriel Valla, The Driftwoods, also with Gabe and Eric Searcy, based out of St. Augustine  and The Gatorbone Band with Gabriel Valla and Jason Thomas (of The Claire Lynch Band). When not on the road, the Williamsons spend time at their home on their beloved Gatorbone Lake, nestled deep in the Sandhills of Florida, where they write and record their own music as well as produce and record music of other Florida and beyond folk artists. attention

January 9         Doctor Paul  as he’s known to his fans, is a troubadour in every sense of the word. After appearing on NBC’s The Voice in Season 9, the Doctor has been traveling on his “I Ain’t Done Yet” tour, bringing his music to as many new fans and friends as possible.  The Doctor has collaborated with some of the great names in the business, and has recorded with some of Nashville’s top session players, but it is in his live shows that you’ll experience him as nature intended: Unadorned, accompanied by only his acoustic guitar, his unique, powerful voice carried by a flurry of fingerpicked notes that pass like mile markers on a very heady trip. January 16         Terry Smith  started learning guitar at age 8 and now plays acoustic guitar, twelve string, electric, bass and also drums. Through the years has performed at churches, correctional facilities and festivals. In the 80s played with Christian band “Straightway.” Today it will be a variety mix of songs such as Dream Lover by Bobby Darin, Country Roads by John Denver, Who’ll Stop the Rain by Credence Clearwater Revival and Johnny B. Goode by Chuck Berry.

January 23    The duo MIDDLEGROUND consists of Barbara and Mark Armbrecht, whose music includes an eclectic mix of folk, pop, blues, ragtime and classic favorites all of which have been flavored by Barbara’s finger picking style and Mark’s solid bass technique.  They worked in the studio recording industry for many years.  Mark was bassist with a staff band and Barbara a regular for Jamboree, UDS, a weekly live radio broadcast of country music.  MIDDLEGROUND competed in the N. Central FL Blues Competition and was chosen to represent the North Central FL area at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee in January 2013 in the Duo category.

January 30  Joe Mark and Charlie Robertson

Joe Mark has performed for over 40 years at many clubs and music festivals throughout Florida. Starting out as a classical musician he now brings guitar and fiddle to stage to share traditional and old-time tunes, along with his own reflective original songs to paint scenes we are all in.

“If you’ve never experienced Charlie Robertson’s music, you owe it to yourself. He’s like Van Zandt, Prine and Dylan with a drawl.  Charlie’s subtle poetry and eccentric perspectives will leave you sharing his deep affection for the parade of southern characters who populate his songs.” David Beede
