February 6, 2020 Mike Anderson – The Dulcimer Guy – is the quintessential folklorist and musician. Anderson’s whimsy and wit are always a hit with audiences. Mike plays guitar, banjo, jaw harp, nose-flute, bones, and more. He is best known as an outstanding mountain dulcimer player–one of the very best in his home state of Illinois and indeed the entire Midwest. As a driving force on the folk scene he is one of the people we can thank for keeping traditional music and storytelling alive.
February 13 Tenth Annual Valentine’s Day Show host, Bill Moran. Love songs and spoken word variety show– a celebration of love of the planet and its people with new and returning poets and musicians. A community affair where love is in the air; for all those who want to exchange a feeling of love.
February 20 Lauren Heintz “Gatorbone Studios Recording Artist, Lauren Nicole Heintz, is a singer/songwriter out of Orlando, Florida. She’s been performing professionally for only a few years, but with her skillful guitar stylings, uniquely deep voice, and award-winning songs she is already becoming a mainstay at the major Florida folk festivals and tours the country performing concerts. In 2012 she released her first album, Feels Like a Miracle. Her awards include a 2014 win at the South Florida Folk Festival singer/songwriter competition, a 2013 win at the Walnut Valley Festival song contest, and two Top Ten placings at the Will Mclean New Florida Song Contest.”
