Also on Friday evening:

Dancers,

Contra dance this Friday night, September 9, in Melrose! Dance from 7:30 -10:00 p.m. at the Shake Rag Art & Culture Center; $5 donation.    Shake Rag was an old church that is now an art gallery, and it has a  wood  floor that is great for dancing.

So what do you get when you mix parts of contra dance bands All Days  and Onions with the Potluck Poachers? POACHED ONIONS.

Dance to the calling of Susie Rudder and the music of Poached Onions  with Tom Staley, Fay Baird, Eleta Sucsy and Pat Stevens.

ShakeRag is located at #301 Bellamy Avenue (SR 26) and Grove Street.  From Gainesville, take University Ave or 39th Ave heading east. They merge and become S.R. 26. Once you are in Melrose, Shake Rag is set back on the right just beyond, and beside, the park; if you arrive at the  traffic light you’ve gone too far. It’s 18 miles from University Ave & Main St.  in Gainesville. Come join the fun.
