Chili Cook-Off Chili Cook-Off
This popular annual event raises funds for the Melrose Public Libray. Held at Chiappini's gas station at the corner of SR 26 and SR 21. Registration is free and chili is available for $3 for a tasting spoon or $5 to take home a pint. Contact Debbie Effingham at 352.258.3531 for details.

Held at the Trinity Episcopal Parish Hall, 204 SR 26, Melrose. Breakfast for $5 per plate and a single coffee for $1. Proceeds benefit the Melrose Public Library. Click here to preorder your camellias and have them waiting for you at the breakfast. We can't wait to see you there!

Melrose Duclimers Jam Melrose Dulcimers Jam
Join us for our monthly jam at the historic Melrose Homemaker’s Club building. Our jam includes old-time fiddle tunes, waltzes, and gospel music or whatever happens to be called. What instruments are usually played at our jam?  Mountain dulcimers (of course), hammered dulcimers, kazoos, harmonicas, guitars, penny whistles, banjos, a fiddle, and a harp. Singing, too! Open to the public.
